Welcome to Kit Lake, my home water in the middle of central Florida’s bass country. These waters are dreamed of destinations for those with a healthy fly fishing addiction. They are places of recreation, distraction and comfort for people lucky enough to get here. And they remain places of interest to anglers who’ve moved on.
The change of the seasons offers angling opportunities that are always interesting to a fly angler, and sometimes soothing their other challenges. The anglers I fish with and the animals of the lake come together in a story worth more than a factual field log.
